Odds Ends Foreign Western Sparky
I hope you are surviving this lockdown. The boys are enjoying having us all the time. Sparky here is guarding Laurie’s purse. Usually, we are out, but everything is closed. Laurie miss going out and seeing people. I do the shopping as Laurie’s walking is not good. Occasionally she will ride along just to get out. She stays in the car, while I do the essential services. Our state is now requiring that you have a mask before you can go into the store. Our supermarkets are now setting up one entrance and one exit. It is not bad when they are side by side. It is annoying when the entrance and exit are 150 feet wide.
We are waiting for an easing of the lockdown especially for Laurie to get her nails done. The big question is when the flea markets will opening. I am not expecting shows to open until late summer.

Collection Time Foreign Western

Odds Ends Foreign Western red Indian
The first Indian we are going to show is this 60mm Indian with tomahawk and shield. There is a number 35 so he might have been part of a game. I have no idea who made it.
Spanish Indian
Another unknown Indian is the 56mm Indian holding rifle in his right and while his left hand is up to his forehead. He is possible from Spain.
Timpo Cavalry
This Timpo cavalry figure is a third version figure. Someone removed the arrow which would be on the left side. I like the figure better without the arrow. The interesting side of this figure is right now for sale on Ebay. When doing research I found a site called Shopmeister. had my figure listed. they look at hundreds of shops on the internet. Has anyone had experience with this site?

As a boy I removed many arrows of my Timpo confederate and union swoppet troops with a kitchen knife, because I thought that they then better fit to ACW scenarios. Today I miss the arrows …

I believe that s typical original made as cavalry poses set and then paint or change to colors as ACW they kept mold arrow in figure .It was standar production for toy soldiers makers use US cavalry in grey and blue as ACW back then regardless uniform else .
Yet there were indian battles and skirmish against confederate during ACW .

The arrow could be removed and then added i think …

I never understood why Confederate soldiers would have arrows sticking out of them. I can see Union soldiers with arrows to double as Custer’s 7th Cavalry troopers, but not the grays. Same mold I guess.
