Well, Stad really screwed up this time I looked at this figure and I thought I saw Lone Star. I found out today I was wrong it is Crescent. I usually do not have the figures I photograph next to the computer. It is an interesting figure. .Unlike Timpo Crescent did single colors for the legs upper body. Still, it is an interesting figure.

Update

big Little Man
As Andy Keliar mentioned in his comment, he has been in contact with Ivan on his Little Man Victorian Rag Tag. The figures are 60mm. The set of six different figures available for $43.00 plus $11.00 postage. To order direct from Ivan: contact him at evanspud@mail.ru He speaks excellent English.
Wyatt Earp
This update comes from a recent comment on Facebook. James Woznick mentioned that a number of the cream Wyatt Earp figures were found in one of the Marx dumps in West Virginia. Sadly due to a reaction to the soil, the cream figures turned gray. I replied here is a true gray. I had acquired the Wyatt Earp figures at one of the auction breaking up the partnership of Scalia and bowers who had bought the Marx inventory. James wondered if the gray figure could have been bought from a load of gray landfill Wyatt Earp that Francis turner got. I replied that my gray Wyatt figure years before Francis was active in the hobby. Glen Ridenour confirmed that the auctions were ten years before the first landfill finds. You can see my original article on the Wyatt Earp figures here.

That’s one reason I’ve always admired and respected you, Paul: you’re never too proud to admit when you’re wrong (which isn’t very often, by the way!). Thanks for all you do, stay safe and keep up the great work!

We all make mistakes, admitting it is what made us better .I had screw the recon and else many times,no shame on it .No one is perfect .I mix often names in my head ,many my posts responses are done off phone while doing else ..then i have correct much later .Oh well…
The Marx Earp pose ,if you have all those now you got a lot money there ,specially the grey true grey color .I’m tired heard the fairly tale about every landfill figure and all rare colors blame on it .
There plenty figures that by odor been strong as original can easy tell they were never left under soil for years.Any plastic figure left x years underground loose the smell .The dirt and else come often with finger grease ,weather humidity or mix granulated plastic used during production back that that with time change coloration too .
Been exposed underground can also be a fact but not x all .
I’m glad you can proof they wrong and you have a figure in odd rare color .No one had seen ALL and know ALL in anything .
We still will learn and find rare things on and off .Internet may be used as bad because use x scam/false else but also x good as there old rare toys found recently that are true/real and the internet connectivity help us expose it to .
We can live entire life and think we see and know all .We will not and we are not ….
    My thought
    best

The Socratic Paradox: I am wiser than this man, for neither of us appears to know anything great and good; but he fancies he knows something, although he knows nothing; whereas I, as I do not know anything, so I do not fancy I do. In this trifling particular, then, I appear to be wiser than he, because I do not fancy I know what I do not know. (Socrates quoted in Plato’s Apology)

  5. AJ says:

Half of all we know is wrong; we just don’t know which half.

On another note I see that Austin Miniatures has packed in making 1/32 figures and will be doing 28mm instead another company bites the dust.
