Interesting widow set case by CANE .Mine CANE napoleonic set is loose. i send photos to admin no long ago .
Notice CANE box do not show the napoleonic set in the back yet.
I have my CANE napoleonic set but mine have a hell of paint much better done than those in that case ,i’m wonder what production is that in case .Never seen so poor paint job in a CANE set before .
The CANE napoleonic had been sold made in metal as well from ITALY and plastic copied from HK .I have two metal poses
I think two bottom poses figures are made in french .I forgot maker …
Bottom soldier is french and machine gun is also french LMG 24/29 …

Yes, those paint jobs are probably the worst commercial paint jobs I have ever seen, including cheapo Hong Kong and China figures. The figures are nice, though dull poses. Not as pixie-ballet like as other Cane poses I have seen.
Hello Paul,
your laying machine gun shooter is a french Cyrnos (exists as a sailor, zouave…)
Thank you for the information. I wish I could remember where I got him.
Here are a couple of HK die cast copies sold by K-mart.

The Metal copies sold under KK made by HK are interesting mix .They are a mix of (never released By Cane 2nd set poses)with other poses from first set CANE did ,if look well banner is different poses and belong to a German grenadier banner men .I have full series those -HK metal poses have numerical order engraved in base(214 x banner pose=belong second set ,211 x grenadier=belong first set CANE did ) ,The napoleon poses depicted in HK series is the one with hat that is Napoleon young figure during his early years in republic ,is same CANE did in first srt…

Definitely base in typical Simonetti sculpture carry in to small figurine in plastic ,metal else .Many figures made by CANE were already made in resin as ministautes by Simneti .All CANE did was ask to repeat then as set pting then together
The line of mini statues of pre napoleon and napoleonic era depicted my Simoneti are many in resin ,composition and many scales .They are all over world and sold even at some hobby stores in past .CANE only did one set (last set made by CANE) base in 6 of the poses made by this artist .
