Plastic Figure Showcase Res Plastic, we welcome a new contributor Federico Salvi from Italy. Frederico has shared with us some photos of Res Plastics. Next, we show a comparison with DSG and Timpo. Third, we have a contribution from Detlef Heerbrand of a conversion he did.

Res Plastic of Italy is known as one of the main suppliers for Kinder Egg. They also produced a series of solid figures. These figures are 54mm. Each set has six different figures.

The next set is a U.S.Army. You can see that three of the figures have Thompson submachine guns.

The third set is the Russian soldiers. The figures are nicely detailed. Checking Ebay the individual figures run in price from $9.61 to $26.00 each plus postage. The Russian officer is available from Italy at $9.61 plus postage of $16.03. We thank Frederico for share these figures and will show us other Res Plastic.

Here we have another figure comparison. I had shown the British 8th army standing firing. Peter Evans informed that the figure was Hong Kong copy. Here we have a comparison of the Timpo French Foreign Legion with Hong Kong Figure.

    The Res Plastic guys look very much like the sculptor who did the Atlantic figures was used to do these, as well. Some slightly awkward poses, but I’d add them to my collection.
