Publius Iroquois Indian Figures, we have photos from our friend Denitz. The first one is some closeup photos of the Publius Iroquois Indian Figures. The other is medieval mantlets.

As we mention recently Publius’ newest release is Iroquois. The set has six different poses.
First two poses
The first poses are Indian with a tomahawk in his right hand raised and looking to the right with his hand over his eyes rifle in his left arm resting.
Poses three and four
Jumping over a large piece of a tree and stepping over a piece of wood holding a club in his right hand.
Poses five and six
The final two poses are standing firing a rifle and advancing with a knife in lefthand and a tomahawk in his right hand.
Backside of the figures
Here we have the backside of two of the figures you can see the detail of the figures. I also like the color that Publius is using.

Medieval Mantlets

Mantlets
The other item that is new from Russia is medieval mantlets. The mantlets are large wooden shields to protect soldiers from projectiles. Two companies that did mantlets with wheels were MPC and Elastolin.
Two hole mantlet
There are two different styles. The first style is two open holes, which will allow two men to use the same mantlet’
Hatch mantlet
The other style is an open hatch mantlet. The window opens up and then allows the archer to fired his arrow and then close before the enemy can respond.

The mantlets are available in three different colors oak color, walnut color, and chocolate (dark brown) color. The mantlets are sold in sets of four with two each of the styles. the price for each set is $19.90 plus $10.00 postage

    The siege machines are intersting and good price.
    I have from Elastolin and BB plenty.
    Simba made quite some nice ones too .
    The one I have are most same as these so I do not need these but I bet many will like then.

    Elastolin,Britain,MPC ,TSSD made paviset/mantlet as well .The Elastolin nice curved w three wheels was copied by BB and is not hard find often .
    MPC are a lot around and are in wheels as well .
    MP war game made in 90s has a large amount of siege machines with original made nice catapult,bombard,mantlet and others .
    TSSD made one x romans as well argentina DSD company x their romans nice set .
    In european ,ramsa ,Comansi,Nardi and few other have their own too.
    So far i have most those above mentioned .The new ones only the one with rising window is the only bring me attention but very alike Reamsa i got too.
    These are nice addition but unfortunately I will pass on then as i have plenty ..
    Hope EXF new siege machine are different models
