March Plastic Figure Showcase French Foreign Legion
Links From Boing Boing
Boing Boing is a web site that has various articles on futurism, science fiction, etc. The web site had two interesting articles recently. The first one was about the Gashapon series. Gashaponsets are capsule sets that are sold in vending machines throughout Japan. The series can be animals, anime, etc. We show you last year two figure series WWII Germans and Samurai. The new set is called Drunk Now a series of five people in states of drunkenness. some of the poses are hugging a telephone, wearing a pylon, and a person needs a wastebasket. The figures are two inches high
The other article is about a series of fantasy figures called Hands of Glory. the figures have a unique feature the wrists are fitted with magnets. This allows you to switch accessories. Check them out.
The figures are by short producer Russian brand Lintek
I post then here.

A couple of posts ago there was discussion on lack of bad guys for the Ertl & Tootsie Toy (I think) cops to battle with. A couple of these Lintek figures could work if scales are close.
This is where the wargammers have it all over the plastic figure collectors. I pick up “Wargames Illustrated” & “Wargames Soldiers & Strategies” from time to time and they are filled with cool villa1ns, rough & readies, and other motley crews.
A main saler from russia still carry some old overstock ,he sale good by ebay and ship fast ..

Nice looking boxed set; thanks for sending it. Airfix SAS may also serve as some bad guys possibly.

The Foreign legion mounted figure is by Crescent of the UK
Thanks, James, I somehow forget to mention it. I have updated the article thanks
The British Bobbie is early Timpo. Shows up in the PW Special on that topic
Thanks for the information. They could have used their hollowcast mold
The two additional FFL poses on the RS site seem to be conversions of two of the Timpo GIs, #9002 and 9013.
Good catch. I will be showing a comparison soon between the DSG and Timpo French Foreign Legion
