March Odds Ends Two Coma Red Shirts

A reclusive and rare company from Italy that produces some quite small interesting set.
The figures are generally in the 54 mm smaller range. Among their sets, they did the very rare Garibaldini army set (red shirt army). Who participated in specif camping of early Italian unification wars. Expedition of Thousands

These figures while made or intended for specific small war in Italy under charismatic leader Garibaldi that also been represented by many ITALIAN makers in composition, metal, and plastic can be used for other wars I think
The uniform has a close resemblance to ACW uniforms as well as kepi used. They have bandanna as well. All this gives in many collectors the impression or choice to be used as ACW figures or even as US cavalry 1865 -1890. In fact, several Italian makers such CANE did then in red and blue/grey for ACW to be sold as such.
A Closer Look at Coma Red Shirt

The poses are not much of fighting as more likely camp/ casualties. Included two wounded and a Garibaldi character making a salute speech *(very odd as it looks some roman or later adopted fascist salute pose) still nicely done. The red color is made in later production gloss rest detail if old production mate color it shows more detail.

The plugin hands can be adapted as artillerymen, stretcher carriers,mule-horse driver/walker else …
I love the Red Shirts figures. The brown muskets are Timpo ones that came with the Arabs. Were these issued originally with the figures or have they just been given as replacements?
Most likely replacement.
Original weapons are all mix up with others when I got lot.Hard to get full set poses with it original weapons that were rifles not muskets and pistols/saber .
In fact hard to find then with any weapons unless lucky or full mint pack.
