Timmee Figures Military Western Russian Figures
Timmee made a series of 12 different Russian figures. The figures were not available for a long time. The mold was shipped to Mexico. I found the figures in a Woolworth’s in Mexico City and bought all I could. I only kept a few of what I brought back.
Timmee Russians
The twelve poses are:
1. with a submachine gun across the waist
2. An officer with a pistol waving
3. Standing with a submachine gun in his right hand and pointing with his right hand
4. Grenade thrower
5. Standing firing rifle
6. kneeling firing rifle
three more Russians
7. Advancing with a bayonet rifle
8. Stabbingdown with a bayonet rifle
9. Marching with a rifle and an ammo box in his left arm.
10. Laying firing rifle
11. Marching with rifle
112. Russian officer saluting
You can see the other poses on Kent Sprecher’s site and the different colors that were done. These figures show up very rarely.

Other Timmee Military Figures

Timmee Anti-aircraft gun
The Timmee anti-aircraft gun is not an easy piece to find. I got lucky years ago. Laurie and I got to a flea market. late. In this market, you have to be there in the dark to get the buys. somehow the figure and gun had been missed. I had not seen another anti-aircraft gun until last summer.
Timmee Air Force
Timmee Air Force was done in blue, tan, waxy gray, and red. Over the years, I have gotten plenty of the blue version, but very few in tan. Here we have an Air Force officer with binoculars pointing.
Timmee Army
Speaking of tan, we have the army grenade thrower in tan. Tan was done in Germany. I do not know if the figure was painted by the factory. I have only seen these figures unpainted. We will look at some of the Timmee western and SWAT.

Nice interesting TM collection there you show!!!
The Russian TM are one of best made by TM and to me made by different sculptor, the figures even done in 60 mm can be used with any same scale comrade or foes ,aso as KN Koreand red too as they used alike uniform used by Koreans/Chinese during 50s .
Being fact TM Never did WW2 germans i think these figures were made thinking in Korean war rather than WW2 as GI’S are also Korean era as well buy uniforms and most weapons .Regardless i manage get some these reissues in 90s and also the recast specially commision by Greg LiSKA that come very good made in light resin material.
Funny part i bought so many i resold most nad Greg actually got some back recently from me .
Im looking x more reissues now to do conversion as Greg Recast are great but fragile resin material no good x conversion .

The artillery figure seat in AA gun looks like a german with a Fallschirmjägerhelm or luftwaffe personnel .The cannon i try get before but not luck .
I think another maker made an alike cannon too ..

I though the TM Air force in that color were reissues ,i got a lot then in early 2000 from a seller off show .
    best

Nice shot of the Timmee Russians in green. I’ve only seen them in red; one of the great things about visiting this site. Are they that terribly large? Would they fit the “new” 1/32 scale TSSD and other figures (of course not talking about style or quality of sculpt).

Yes they will go blend match w new CTS,TSSD,STARLUX,MPC,FV,EXF,PP Marx WOW and so on.
      No related.
Intersting last two CTS german sets looks giants next to early set.
I think everyone trying to adjust w new other makers .
      Best…

  3. In 1965 Processed Plastic who had taken Tim-Mee over in the summer of 1964 made a new mold of the Air Force figures. They were slightly thinner than the originals to save on plastic. Although the new mold had 12 cavities it did not contain the figure with rocket/bomb or the or the man looking upward with binoculars, but had duplicates of the two pilots. The new figures made in tan were sold as US Marines in a special Army, Navy & Marines header card set in 1965. Later they were made in red & waxy light gray, but were phased out of production around 1975 and replaced in Air Force bags by the “Vietnam Armymen” molded in blue . This mold still exists and Victory Buy has had the mold run in olive green and light tan and is selling them as part of their Tim-Mee Toy line.

Two years ago, at the Wheeling show, I purchased a full set of the TimMee Russians in the red color from John Stengle JR. he said that his put the set together one at a time over the course of years. Along with them I purchased a Timmee truck in the same color.
