The computer is almost back up. I just waiting to get the data transfer and getting a cable to transfer the pictures from my new camera. The new camera has a 30x zoom and the pictures I have done so far are great. I got a fantastic photo of a rabbit scratching himself in the yard. With the old camera I would not have been able to get as close.
The pictures of toy soldiers that I have taken are great and I can not waited to show them. Hopefully I will show you the first results next week.
Stad, we’re still looking forward to your West Virginia Marx Show report. The new pictures of the TSSD Roman/Barbarian playset are looking pretty good.
Joseph Saine is having a Michigan toy soldier auction on Saturday, July 23, followed by a 100-table toy soldier show on Sunday, July 24. This is to replace the show that Rick Berry used to have. This year, however, Michigan Toy Soldier Co. is not planning on even having a table. Normally, as the show sponsor, Michigan Toy Soldier Co. would always have 5 – 6 tables.
Incidently, thanks for turning us on the the collector in Britain who posted the pictures of Armies in Plastic Sudan/Gordon Relief expedition Camel Corps that he took at the London Show. That collector posts an interesting picture with story nearly every week, and I now regularly check his website.

Good to hear from you. I hoping to get article up once the old computer is back in. I stopped to check on it yesterday and found out it was not a hardware problem but a logic problem. The problem is the operating system is Vista and they do not have any operating system for Vista so we will have to put Windows 7 on the old computer. This will require them to back up the data. I have the pictures yet on the old camera, but I do not want to upload them to the new computer as I have had problems with using two different cameras before with Kodak software I use.
On West Virginia we had a great time as always. the show seemed a little subdue. We found some great pieces for the collection and resale. It was fun to see the old famaliar faces and finally meet Eric Johns face to face. Sadly we did not get alot of time to talk to him. Laurie got to one of her favorite eating places Later Alligator. We also enjoy Cheddars a chain restaurant we do not have back home. One of the interesting items I acquire for ourselves was the Marx Doll House figures painted in Hong Kong.
Let us know how the show goes that Joe Saine is planning foir this month. We are going to a little toy show the end of the month and then I will go to Toy town in Macungie PA the first Saturday in August.
