Three December Figure Odds Ends Andy Keliar

Three December Figure Odds Ends, we start off with some conversions from Andy Keliar. Next, I will share some items from the Collection.

Three December Figure Odds Andy Keilar’s Conversions

Three December Figure Odds Barzso
We have from Andy Keliar some more conversions. The first one is a minor change. On the left is the original Barzso Collectibles Pioneer woman throwing a bucket. Andy said the “official” blue resin water is nearly impossible to find anymore. To make water Andy used card stock on a color printer
Pioneer woman
After sending me the above photo, Andy did a shorter version of the water spray. What do you think?
Horse and soldier
Someone gave Andy some colonial Barzso figures as a bonus with an order. Since he doesn’t collect American Revolution figures, IHe converted them to CSA figures. The shooter is under his fallen Replicants horse. The original head on the side.
Soldier sleeping
The other figure is a laying figure which could be used dead figure or soldier wounded. The original head is on the right.

Collection Time

Pirate
One of the items I picked up at Sunday show. This is a pirate is about 5 inches tall. I have no idea who made it.
The flash
I was able to add to my superhero collection also at the show. Walking back from a building holding flea market dealers, I spotted one dealer with these four figures. Since these were the last four figures he gave me a good price. The two to the left are Jakks Pacific Hero Portal. In the center, is the Schleich Flash. I have no idea who made the Flash on the right.
Flapper
This figure was acquired in Germany so I thought it might be from Germany. Placing the photo on Facebook, I found out from my friend Detlef Heerbrand that it was from Spain. It was made by a company called Relajes Festina and made in the 60s’. It is known as the Charleston dancer.

Thank you to Mark, Erwin, and others for wishing me a happy birthday. I keep it low key, especial in one place we eat out regularly. They used to have a server who would bang on a big pot for a person celebrating a birthday. Very annoying. I will be posting one tradition I do on or around my flea market. Go to a flea market.

  6. Brian says:

Well I guess a 25 December Birthday is better than a 29 February one eh.

  7. Wayne W says:

    Merry Birthday Paul!

My grandpa’s birthday was on Christmas – he said when he was little he was always excited about all the fuss folks made about his birthday. Then he grew older and realized what it was all about. He said he always felt cheated as far as gifts were concerned – his folks were poor coal miners anyway and they took advantage of the chance to kill two birds with one stone. He always said it with a smile, though.

I hope you’re having a great day. Consider the fact you’re in great company for birthdays.
