We Like the Pictures, But

We  like all the pictures taken at Texas Show, but we have not seen any reports of the show.  There was a flood in the area and the question is did the rain effect the show in attendance or not?  Also how were sales and who had tables at the show.  So please get a report up of the show.

    Paul, just got back last night; talking to the dealers, every one I spoke with (admittedly, didn’t speak to all) said they did well and were concerned about attendance due to rain as well, but it didn’t seem to affect the turnout. There was a pretty good time each time my wife and I visited. To my knowledge the flooding didn’t affect the downtown area much (we stayed at the Menger), and the heaviest rains occurred in the early morning, though we had some good showers off and on throughout the weekend. We planned our off-site activities around the showers. I believe the busses and public transportation (including tourbusses and carriage rides) were cancelled early that day but were up by mid- to late afternoon.

      Glad to hear that the show went well and finally to hear a report. I know that the Menger is on high ground, but was curious on attendance. Hopefully more reports show up soon.
