Right now Jordan Hembrough of Toy Hunter is in Puerto Rico where he attended the Puerto Rico Comic Con. I wonder if he has found out yet that Puerto Rico is not a foreign country like he mention in several interviews earlier this year.
Speaking about Puerto Rico Comic Con, you may wonder what it cost to do a show like that. For Hollywood Collectibles, Jordan’s company traveling from New Jersey to Puerto Rico there are two major costs the show rent, and travel expenses. The show rental I figure cost around a thousand dollars. This cost includes a double space, glass cases, electricity, etc. The travel expenses would include hotel room, air travel and meals. Checking with Laurie airfare to Puerto Rico can run between $300.00 and up round trip including tax. Hotel rooms depending on where they stay can cost couple hundred dollars per person. So for a dealer to do a show from the distance that Jordan came, it would cost $3,000.00 to $5,000.00 plus or minus. It will be interesting to see how Jordan does when the show airs.
Jordan has tweeted he is doing a special with the people from Baggage Battles. Very likely they are doing a show similar to Baggage Battles where they will do an auction. We will let know when we hear more.
