Part Two 2019 East Coast Toy Soldier Show in part one we showed some metal figures. In Part Two we talked to Matt Murphy of Hobby Bunker on his purchase of Paragon figures. We also look at some of the figures Carl Eber had for sale.

Part Two 2019 East Coast Toy Soldier Show Matt Murphy

Part Two 2019 East Matt Murphy — I stopped by to talk with Matt Murphy of Hobby Bunker. As has been reported here and other places. Matt bought Paragon Toy Soldiers. After congratulating him on his purchased, I asked him about his plans for the company. Right now, he is working to get the existing product under his wing before moving ahead on any projects. He does not have any new figures planned at this time. We will keep you informed as we get any new information.

Carl Eber

Carl Eber — Once again Carl Eber let me take pictures of the various figures he had for sale.

Ideal figures — Here we from Eber’s tables various Marx, Andygard and Ideal figures. Notice the Marx 60mm tan cavalry figure on the left side.

Marx 60mm — On a shelf above Eber had 60mm Marx including Romans, 1812 sailor, and Mexican War. On the left side is the Marx Zorro Character figures.

covered Wagons — It is covered wagon time. Carl had 7 different wagons in various colors.

Playsets — Here we see various Marx character figures including two Annie Oakley figures. In the background are several Marx Playsets including a Wagon Train, Fort Dearborn, and Arctic Explorers.

Marx western figures — Various Marx western figures including yellow Indians

Marx Russians — Not only do we have the Marx Russian figures, but we also have the color matching military accessories for these figures. This vehicle set was only the larger battleground sets. Notice some of the light tan vehicles as well.

Marx Flags — Eber had various Marx tin litho flags including the Russian flag another very hard item to find.

We will finish up with Eber’s items and then look at Francis Turner’s items including some Marx items that were done in unusual colors just before the company closed.

I never see the Marx romans in that color.Wonder asking price in sailors 1812 !?
