Andy Keliar’s Conversion Building

Andy Keliar's Conversion Building Coffin
As we mention in the previous post of Andy’s he likes to do various conversions. Here are a few photos of a Britians No4720 Livery Stable/ Farmyard Barn. Andy then sided the building with cardstock with a color printer. and turned into a coffin factory.

On the left side, Andy has a figure squatting working on a coffin.

Here we have two men on lowering a coffin into a wagon. the wagon which was shown in the first photo is from Plasty. The figure kneeling down is Processed Plastic

Andy Keliar’s Conversion BuildingAndy’s Falling Rider Conversion

Falling Horse
Andy sent this final conversion of a falling horse and rider. You will notice that he used a different horse and change the head of the rider.
another view
Andy also added a furled flag to the left hand. To make the pose more dynamic andy used a wire to have the figure is flying in the air. What do you think of the pose?

Detlef’s Cave People Question

Caveman
Detlef Heerbrand got this interesting cave people’s family. I like the cavewoman with the child. Detlef does not know who made it, do you?

Collection Time

Wilton witch
I only have a few items from the collection that could be Halloween related. Here we have a Wilton Witch. Wilton copied the MPC witch and sold it as a cake decoration. It came with a plastic cauldron and a stand.

    Even to this day, I’ve always been fascinated by CAVE MAN figures,
    weather they be 6″ or 1:32.
    What were all the different cave man figure sets?
    * MARKS 6″ – 6 poses
    * ?
    * ?
    Somebody come to the rescue here?

  2. denitz says:

    Marx 1.5″ 6 poses
    Timmee 1.5″ – 4 poses
    Starlux 60mm – 10 poses

    to be continued 🙂

  3. denitz says:

    Jecsan 54mm – at least 7 poses
    Oritet (Russia) 60mm – 6 poses + 2 animals
    Oritet (Russia) 45-50mm – at least 6 poses

  4. ERWIN F SELL says:

    MPC did other alike Marx 45 mm poses but not cloned ,DFC did another set different from marx and MPC in 50 mm as well
    There plenty not copies made by several Chinese marks since early 90s that are original designed
    Also there nice set by Bully with 6 poses ,PLastoy,Sleight,Papo that are in the 85 to 95 mm scale range.
    Safari LTD and K & M. 54-60 mm scale .
    TAKARA TOMMY 54 mm scale set of 6 nice well done figures ; some
    HK copies or variation of other brands.
    There is are are swoppet HK version in 45 mm scale made that i have few poses only as well .
    HG 4 poses made in HK original
    Tommy Annia brand pose with saber tooth tiger .
    Milton vintage poses that are well done in 80 mm scale approx
    Jecsan were made in 60 mm scale not 54 mm and later the same set with all 7 poses made in 35 mm scale .The set in 35 mm scale was made to match more acordinaly the prehistoric animals made original by Jecsan .
    Jecsan 60 mm are still been recast by a company off Spain mix in bags with modern animals sold as pinata feelers.
    There also Garnier brand set ,TM ,IMPERIAL recently sold at walmart and few others
    The main issues is the scale .Most made in non 54 mm as not made to match any other item,animal or else .
    Most set were made not in scale with animals.Yet they are quite interesting and in my collection all have space minus the too large Marx 6″ scale that are in my opinion and personal like are odd funny looking as if were a baseball team playing .
    best

    Great conversions. I also like caveman figures and i think they can be used in other eras, I like to use them as Fantasy wild Barbarian Warriors that live in the mountains, I got that idea from reading my Conan comics when i was a boy.

  10. Darren Hatley says:

    Afraid i dont know who made these Cave people but i like them and would like to own them, Especially the male figure.
