Peter Evans’ Figure Surprises, one of the enjoyments to get in the mail. I know that Peter’s package will have some interesting items. This latest package is no exception, so let’s take a look.

Peter knows that Laurie likes dinosaurs. As I have mentioned before she played with the Miller dinosaurs until they broke. I got her replacement of her Miller after we got married.

The latest dinosaurs that Peter found was this box set Prehisterror. The series had eight different dinosaurs in sets of two. Laurie likes the presentation in the box.

We are still getting figures in the retail market. One example of this is Warcraft mini-figures. These came out a few years ago. They are in the style of the Lord of Rings figures.
Fortnite Video Games
Figures can come other ways such as stampers or key rings. An example of this is above related to video game Fortnite. You can then adapt into figures.

Superheroes Time

Toy charity shop

One of Peter Evans favor places to find toys is The Toy Project. This is a charity shop that deals exclusively in toys. One thing you can do is fill a plastic bag with figures. While most of the figures available are superheroes. That is fine with me.

DC superheroes
We have Bizarro on the right on a supergirl on the left.
Spider man villians
The bag contained several Spiderman villians including the Lizard. Doctor Octopus, Mysterio, and the Vulture. Many of these figures should be from the Phidal book series. You would get a book with figures.
Star Wars
Peter got a few stormtroopers from Star Wars. for me.
More Marvel figures
Some more Marvel heroes including Mr. Fantastic, Wolverine and Kraven the Hunter. I like the detail on Kraven.
Jimmy Olsen
One more figure I got for my superhero collection is Jimmy Olsen. He goes with the bizarro figure I showed earlier. I believe he was made by Phidal and can be used with the Superman or separate as a civilian. The figure on the right is a downsze copy of the Starlux medieval series. That figure was done in China.

Miscellaneous

Figures
Peter included the two painted figures separate. Cowboy on the left is based on a Britians Herald cowboy. The army officer is from Boley. The unpainted fireman was in the bag with the superheroes.
Centaur
The centaur was in the bag and is nice. I have no idea about the little figures.
Red skull
The Red Skull on the left is a conversion done by Peter. I have put a regular Red Skull on the right for comparison
Cherilea
Peter used the Cherilea German officer as his base for his Red Skull. Peter removed the binoculars
and change the hand position to hold the clipboard. (We thank Kent Sprecher for use of his photo)

    Starlux copy is part set 16 poses made in china sold under Red Box In plastic boxes container
    A second set w another original designed in china 8 poses was done along some of the copies later.
    It first show up in late 90s .
    Sold here by Mcfrugal now BIG LOT and also sold by KB toys.
    I had resold most my double poses.
    A late 2012 copy was made and sold but with much less poses.
    They set a a lot along 54 mm as original.Starlux are much taller.

    Is The Toy Project reasonable with their prices as I have been in other charity shops and they charge a fortune for items.

    The toy project usually charges between 50p to £1 per figure
