Stad’s Plastic Figure Collection Finds Surprises

Stad’s Plastic Figure Collection, the weather got cool enough last week allowing me to get upstairs to the collection. As I have mentioned before when we moved from my old house the figures got places in storage boxes. With my other obligations, I don’t get the time to go through and review the figures. So many times when I open a box or drawer I come up with surprises.

Stad’s Plastic Figure Collection First Surprises

Stad's Plastic Figure Collection Zorro
My first discovery was this Zorro type figure. I say type as many of the figures done in Europe of Zorro were not authorized. Because the figure was bought loose, I have no idea who made him. One other thing he is a mounted figure.
Stad's Plastic Figure Collection knight
The green knight was made in 2001 in China. When I saw him the way his eyes were painted, he reminded me of a Doctor Who villain. I don’t remember where I got him and so far he is only one I found in the collection. I can’t wait to see the other poses.
Stad's Plastic Figure Collection Small man
This figure must have been fin a box of figures I bought as I normally would not have purchased him. The main reason I would have passed on him is his size. I believe he is either a worker or a fireman.

Familiar Figures

Reisler Figures
I think the first time I saw a Reisler figure was in Teepee Town that was in the New York Port Authority. Over the years I found other Reisler figures in the states. This figure I believe I got at Classic Toy Soldiers in New York City (no relation to CTS owned by Jim McGough and David Payne). Laurie and I went to their store (now closed) to buy some Timpo Vikings. I ended up buying some other figures including the above figure. sadly he is missing his separate tomahawk.
Atlantic police
This Atlantic figure was in the wrong box. It is from one of the 1/32 scale sets that did not reach the United States Italian Carabinieri. I had to get this figure and others in Europe at one of the shows. I will have to hunt for the other figures.

The green knight is a cool figure – I think he’d look much better without the paint job, though. I agree with your Dr. Who villain comparison.
