Warhansa Huron Figure Comparison Part One, Erwin Sell has done a comparison of several companies that can go with the Warhansa Hurons we spotlighted recently.

I decided to do in this first part a Warhansa Hurons comparison with Barzso, Ninos, Urfin. In a future article, I will compare the Warhansa Hurons with Replicant, AIP, Manurba and CTS ( Iroquoians)-Northeast Indians.

The Warhansa artist, who did the figures either complete change their style of sculpting from the Warhansa typical style brand style figures poses and design made before (most Warhansa figures are, more alike Warhammer-gamers style.) or new sculptor.
The bases are nice done terrain and, the head on each figure is well done with nice facial gestures.

The poses are exceptional. The detail is very deep. While the muscles are denoting, they are not over-exaggerated in my view. The braves of the eastern and northern mountain-valley region were in most cases were athletic according to the various account descriptions of French, English and Dutch settlers and explorers.
The poses have a large number of possibilities for conversion as arms are separated from the body in action poses

They bring me back to Fenimore Cooper awesome literature memories (Who lived very close where I’m and his house museum is)
I like then and even so, are very expensive, the URFIN and Nino’s brands north east Huron/mohawks are as well pricy.

Warhansa Huron Figure Comparison Final Thoughts

Because WARHANSA is 60 mm or taller, so far AIP, URFIN and later Barzso 60 mm Indians match perfectly in scale follow by CTS that did a set with some figures in 54mm and large scale
Rest is 54 mm and under scale versus WARHANSA
I like the poses depiction by Warhansa facial very deep detail with muscles in face and hair waving with movement. It shows a lot of dynamism and realism.
Most of the poses are nice, the guy running with the sawed off rifle and club is a little over the top. I think most people would be hard pressed to even achieve that pose. I’ll even over look the six packs and reserve comment.
I don’t think that it is a sawed off rifle it is a cavalry pistol with a very long barrel they had them in the English civil war.
It is a cavalry pistol …
It look to me like he’s getting shot as he makes a headlong rush.
Well, whatever it is and I don’t really care. Try to duplicate that movement, it’s not easy for anyone with the possible exception of Erwin.
ED Borris.
I had not mention any about this pose.Nor answer you comment at all..
I just confirm what other person (James Nixon) say about weapon.
So I don’t know what you have to put my name about the pose.
Yes, as he has taken all those photos.
