Plastic Figures Update Ebay Ancient Egyptians
Markus Lecksheid was kind enough to help out with a request. A party wanted to know how the Atlantic and Jescan Egyptian figures compared in size. I added into the request. the Supreme ancient Egyptians. As you can see from the above photo all three figures will work well together. This one thing I like that you can do. You can mix other companies together. In this case, it will work nicely.
Ebay Finds Part Two
First, we have an update from Mike Predergast. Here we have a complete set of figures. As noted by Barrie Blood, these figures are from a Noah’s Ark playset. This is one of the problems with some Ebay listings. The lister does not know what they have. This where the buyer has to know what the items are really is.
One of the nice things on Ebay is able to get access to figures from around the world. Prior to the internet, you had to travel aboard or get them from one who had sourced from aboard. Ebay changed that allowing you to do it from your computer. Case in point is this set from Argentina, Marco from the Apennines to Andes Set. It was done in 1978. This set while might be of interest to most collectors, some collector might have a part of the set.
As I related in this article, I had gotten an unusual figure in the UK. It took 25 years to get the set. You never know what will show up
Blast From the Past
When I had the problem with the website earlier this year, I got access to the old photos I had used with FrontPage. One of those photos was of the Triang version of the Renewal Caisson. The set had been at a Plastic Warrior show. I had to pass on it as it was going to be a hassle to ship. I have seen the cavalry figures also in brown.
The egyptians compare size brands is great .The Marx also match with then.
I have not compare Engineer Basevich with then but i guess will be close enough
Also actually the SUPREME brand 16 poses are Atlantic poses mix with other Atlantic poses,By sample torso one pose mix with legs other to create a new pose.
With very minor difference in small detail.
