That soldier is a Blue Box pose. I had a Blue Box battlefield set about 1976 with 50mm soldiers and that was one of the poses. I found a picture of all the poses. This patricular pose is found just to the left of the ruined building. It’s either a 4 inch Blue Box variant or an oversized clone.
Forgot the pic! https://www.planetdiecast.com/hwdphotos/uploads/246/3351/5taqcg7cca7z3h_mini.jpg
The astronauts are generic HK poor copies of original LP brand made in Hong Kong as well.
LP made then in late mid till early 70 approx. The LP logo is sometimes confused and wrong labeled as IDL because of the way the letters are broken up. When you see a full size image of the logo it clearly depicts a human type figure hugging the letters L & P. There 8 poses in original LP set and they were sold painted in silver ,red ,blue ,grey flat not gloss white with minor touch other colors on then .The original are very well done .No copies of any brand and very unique .They were sold in window cases/packs,blister card and with some original larger space vehicles and accessories as well that were not all marked LP .They are high priced collectibles figures ,specially if inside pack and the spaceships/vehicles are harder to get .
They also made the same set in 30 mm scale to match blend with their 6 poses aliens and vehicle /accessories and spaceship made x this scale as well .
I sold recently a full set LP(1/32 scale) poses loose in my store as I had doubles.
The figures poses and full dress spacesuits are based on US Mercury astronauts pictures published when Mercury missions were undertaken in 1961-3
These white not painted wasted copies come much later in blister cards or else from late 70s till late 90s with some colorful made as cake decoration sold in UK and other european countries as well .Often unmarked or simple Hong Kong in bottom and about 50 mm scale
The modern soldier next to JH pose is one of the New Ray 2 modern poses that come with 1990s NR Abrams tank in box .It’s A reduced(52MM) variation poses of one included in other 8 poses 62/65 mm poses modern set made previous by New Ray with modern armor and as special forces set too .
If the 4″ is about 85mm are HK copies Not cloned of original 50 mm blue box poses US Infantry WW2/Korean set .It was also copied by other non HK maker .
There several version of these tall copies version and some poses are not copies of BB such a stretcher carriers poses
I can provide picture of full 85mm set poses I have and of course the 50mm BB original 6 poses set .As well LP full poses astronauts original and accessories if wish .
WILTON copied the Marx pirates in many version ,some are mix 60 mm poses with 54 mm poses .I have some of those mix as well
The Timpo solid pose is interesting find .I’m wonder if it suffer the same issue of fragile plastic as other Solid Timpo had .
Never seen those Britain copies in solid plastic green color -Interesting !!
I have many in silver colored that are better detail .So far i got full set british ,Japanese, some US infantry and germans in silver .Same in US civil war and western
Here were distributed among others by Kresge .Better know later as K-mart
Best
