Our very good friend Mathias has found some new figures from Russia. Going back to the web site where we recently posted for a series of test shot figures by Own, Mathias found three new sets from a Russian maker. The first two sets are medieval sets, they are for the Battle of Grunwald. The each set contains six different figures of Polish and Teutonic knights. The third set is of Indians. The figures are very detailed and in great poses. Each set is listed as a limited production. The figures are not cheap, the cost of each set is $38.00.
If you want to see the figures go to the link below.
They are made by Pvblivs!!! (new sculptor I think)
Mathias
That is great news. I am a big fan of Pvblivs and will be sure to add the figures to my collection.
Hope a dealer in the USA carries these.
Tom
It is hard to say if U.S. company will pick them. A party from Russia showed up at the OTS last year and various dealers bought all the figures he had with him. Since then none of the dealers bought the. At the moment, only Steve Weston has any Russian figures. Pvblivs takes paypal. I have bought from them direct twice and had good experiences.
Is there a separate Website for Pvblivs? I couldn’t figure out how to order from the Website above.
Hi Steve

Hello Andrey
Andrey’s web site is
http://toysoldiers.spb.ru
It did not come through on his comment. Andrey is the person with the Own figures.
At the Indy Toy Show, John Stengel informed me that he’s carrying the Russian figures, and in fact has an outstanding order placed which he has yet to receive delivery for.
Don
Thanks for the information, John Stengel will be at the Gettysburg Show so someone can ask them there. We will not be at the Gettysburg show. Laurie and I will be at the Marx meeting June and will see John Stengel there.
