Greetings from Singapore!
Very pleased to inform you of the release of the Napoleonic British Artillery set in the “54mm Napoleonic Wars” range.
· 54 BRT 08 Artillery (Royal Horse Artillery)
Dear All,
The set contains 9 model artillerymen and 2 gun models comprising of 1 officer and 9 gunners in various action poses. All models are supplied unpainted.
Note that the photos below are of test casting models which are only at 90% quality as the colours are uneven.
The Royal Horse Artillery is formed in 1793 and is an elite corps of the British Army during the Napoleonic Wars. The gunners wear the hussars’ braided jackets (called a dolman) and the elegant Tarleton helmets. All the men ride horses and are required to move at cavalry paces.
The Roman scorpion crew set is awesome. Wow!!!.
I hope they short the Roman standarcarrier sword ..Way too long.Otherwise great addition.

Well I’m amazed. Again ex force produce the real goods.
But that command group. These Romans are amazing.
Just a tiny point Erwin couldn’t our standard bearer be armed with a spatha.
Beats the short sword anytime..but just a thought.
June cannot come soon enough and there goes my pension.
Alan
A signifer could have an early spatha or a xiphos non use by roman cavalry that used it in BC if was not because he already has a Gladius sheathed in a scabbard already hanging in his left side belt plus a Pugio hanging as well in other side . So i don’t know about a second extra long sword in his hand while holding the standard with a shield .
The late variation spatha was introduced to the Roman army in the early imperial period by Celtic cavalry auxiliaries who continued to wear their Celtic long swords, in Roman service. The earlier gladius sword was gradually replaced by the spatha from the late 2nd to the 3rd century. From the early 3rd century, legionaries and cavalrymen began to wear their swords on the left side, perhaps because the scutum had been abandoned and the spatha had replaced the gladius.
The figures are depicting early Roman empire 1st to 2nd centuries AD war period according to EXF owner last statement
As post say these are just prototype and they may correct it or not .
I can deal with as well too .Just a minor point as EXF take credit in accuracy .
Conte observe it much better and I think EXF will be a great addition to new coming CONTE or vice versa

The napoleonic artillery crew are great. Is first time I see canister shot been depicted x Napoleonic war in plastic figures crews .The cannon seal end looks a bit odd to me but not big deal i guess and could be a non finish product too.
I consider AIP napoleonic and ACW artillery the best ever made in plastic till now ,more realistic along the unicorn model made by TECHNOLOG from russia .
