I am getting photos in from my various friends in Germany. In the coming days we will have reports from Detlef Heerbrand, Markus Lecksheid, Peter Bergner and possible others on the show. We will start off with photos from Detlef.

These figures are copies of Timpo figures. the Apache laying firing was never made by Timpo. The laying firing Timpo union and confederate figures were made at a very limited production. We note last year at auction supposedly containing these rare figures

    Great pics, Paul; took me back to the old toy stores I used to browse when I was in Germany and Belgium back in the 60s and 70s. Some beautiful figures and I was always impressed with the colors.

    Amazing but these table are the top priced items as far i see in most .Few are the cheap line.There is confederate lot off ebay now x sale so far going low .Interesting !!!

    Looks a great show will have go to it one day. Just wondering has plastic underground the toy soldier makers. Ceased trading as I have tried to go on their site but cannot find it anymore. If anyone knows about them please leave message.

    the great Karl May figure Old Shatterhand is one of the rare portrait figures of Elastolin .. she was awarded 300 euros !!! Probably very rare to find ..

    The 7cm knights in the picture are more like Elastolin like Diedhoff ..

    Nice looking show,,here in texas with the canceling of the SanAntonio show due to rents and greed there seems no where in the entire state that a show can be put on in any form,,

      I’ve been to a couple IPMS shows in the past year and they are very laid back affairs, not for profit at all – just for model builders to show off their creations and have some friendly competition. Toy soldier collectors need to have a similar societal organization to promote the hobby. IPMS has chapters all over the world.
