Stad’s Two-Gun Cowboy Figures Figures
One of the ways I collect is by the pose. This goes back when I did stories with my figures. The above figure is an example of that. I see using him as a sheriff or a man holding his enemies. I do not have an idea who made him.
This is a Jescan cowboy with two pistols. He is one of the many Spanish figures I have collected. I got lucky years ago twice. The first time was when a collector decided to sell his collection at a show. The second time was from an auction from the UK. I do not remember where he came from. One of the nice things of the Plastic Warrior Show is the wide variety of figures that show up. You never know what will show up.
Here we have a Lone Star swoppet cowboy. He is missing his hat. Most companies who did swoppet style did single color parts. This was easier to do than the over molding that Timpo did.
Stad’s Two-Gun Cowboy Figures Other Western Figures
I am sure that I have shown this Plasty figure before. I like him because of the coat. I had planned to use him in a story where he owned a ranch, but never got a chance.
Here is a six inch cowboy which I need identified . Do you know made him. I have been informed he was done by Marx of Hong Kong.
Lafredo did figures in 5 to 6-inch range. They also did figures in the 3-inch range. Here is one of the three-inch figures. I like the posing of the figure.
Stad’s Two-Gun Cowboy Figures One More Thing
There is a sad person who is worried about my collection. He keeps getting the size of my collection wrong. He would be a poor weight guesser at a county fair. Now he has called my collection magical. This time he got it right because it is. Just like your collection and even his collection are magical. From our collections we have had many pleasant moments which help keep us saner hopefully in this crazy world.
Lafredo are about my favorite made in Spain figures and, they did 5 scales per every original set poses hey did .the hardest are the 54 mm and 65 mm figures.
The scales were 30/40mm ,54mm,65mm ,90 mm and the 15 cm call 5 to 6″ as figures high varied in some .
They did under license” agreement” according to books and Spaniard magazine i’m subscribed reissue/copied a series of some Timpo solid sets as well with some poses having a slight variation .The timpo solid sets figures they did use a much better plastic that Timpo back then and their cossacks reproduction are great x that as original Timpo cossacks are too fragile unfortunately .
I like the crescent pose,i don’t have it in my collection .Neither the Lafredo big scale but that scale is not in my interest unfortunately.
best
The cowboy is not Crescent.
He is by Lone*Star designed by David Pomeroy
Thanks for the update I have correct it
Just Guessing , but the first Cowboy makes me think France . I have some new books I bought recently, I will see if I can find and identify it ! Love the big 6 inch cowboy !Definitely has motion in the pose !
Lafredo cowboy running backwards, tripping on cow skull, falling on cactus. Ow.
Hate when that happens ! LOL !

How:
Hello everyone,
The first cowboy was manufactured in France by MINIAJOUET, a firm that produced the hollow lead as the HR (Henri Roger) in the 30s and aluminum and finally plastic figurines (rubbery plastic, but cured with time) as the Miniajouet.
Small very interesting generation with far-west, various soldiers (sailors, parachutists, goumiers etc.) and other things.
Thank you for the work you done! I read you for years.
