Mars Warhansa Figures Release Fantasy we have items to cover from both of these companies to cover. First, Kent Sprecher sent us photos of the Mars German Naval Troops. Second Warhansa has been releasing a number of Fantasy figure besides Lenin historical figure.

Kent Sprecher sent us two photos of the new German Naval Troops. The photos are of the actual figures.
In this photo you can see the figures painted up. The two photos will give you a good idea how these figures will look. Kent agrees that the one walking with ammo case looks awkward. My feeling is you have decided if you want to add them to your WWII Germany forces or not.

Warhansa has released several new items both fantasy and historical. Starting with the fantasy we have barbarian and Amazon. From their dress, we can see that Warhansa is doing Conan and Xena without paying for rights. As a friend told me recently licensing rights are very expensive. With the short runs, it would not be worthwhile to buy. My only complaint is the face of the female warrior could be better. The set of two
The second fantasy set is a dark priest-sorcerer with slave girls. The set has four figures one sorcerer ready to sacrifice a woman while two women are on either side. This is first time in for this scene in plastic. The set is$35.00 plus postage.
Moving to the historical site Warhansa has done two WWII Russian sets. Each set has four figures. The first set is called Nameless Heights The four poses are as follow:
1.With automatic weapon at waist.
2 Officer with grenade and submachine gun
3. kneeling firing rifle
4. Clubbing with rifle
The second set is called Defenders of Brest Fortress. The four poses are as follows
- Standing firing with Rifle
- Firing automatic pistol while the left arm is in a sling.
- Standing with a submachine gun
- Standing right hand closed left hand holding a shovel.
Both set are $25.00 each plus postage
Warhansa has done two individual Historical figures. First one is Vladimir Lenin head of the Russian revolution.
The other historical figure is Harald Hardrada. Harald had been a mercenary and made a claim for the English throne. He fought at the battle of Stamford Bridge and lost. both individual figures are $11.00 plus postage.
I love the Warhansa Fantasy figures and the Viking figure, But the price is a bit steep and may stop me buying them. Plus i have brought a few Warhansa figures in the past and they are a bit on the large size for me. So nice figures but i might give these a miss. I’m more excited by the supposed upcoming Mars Zombie Pirates. Most of them look just like Fantasy Monsters rather than Pirates so i really hope they are still coming out, Plus you get a box of i think 16 figures for around £20 so these days that is good value for money, Someone correct me if i’m wrong?
I have seen more pictures of the Harald Viking figure and it appears to be smaller than the past Viking figures. He looks to be about the same size as the Conte Saxons and Vikings.
It is not a flattering pic of Xena. I note that Conan is closely and effectively modelled on Schwarzenegger. I definitely want them for my wargames but especially Conan.
Now what range is that metal thingy Xena hurls?

All the figures look great especially Conan. The Germans look brilliant will get four sets of them look forward to seeing what else they come up with.
I thought female figure was Valeria from the first Conan movie. But that weapon is associated with Xena.
They could have tried to cover both bases.
I like the Germans: the helmets seem an improvement on the previous set. If this is a production colour, it seems to blend in better with Marx and Airfix.
The Russian clubbing with the rifle has a face only a mother gorilla could love.

Are the fantasy figures available now??? That Conan figure is a must have for my collection.
The fantasy figures can be used for Conna film representation but serve as many ancient scenes too .I can give with some paint or conversion a Pre Colombian culture sacrifice scene use as well
The soviets set are nice simple poses well done ,the prices warhansa are high ,yet not as PP or Publius.
The pose clubbing is a reminiscent of Marx pose to me .
The officer looks like Lenin with pistol at far view
The pose with PPSh-41 looks like has the drum round magazine sculpted too small ,a common issue is most maker

The Mars figures could be a LOT worse; some of them are rather nicely done considering. A big relief. As far as the guy carrying the ammo can goes, I agree he does look awkward, but ammo cans CAN be heavy (I’ve carried a few in my time) – but an ammo box only weighed about 22 pounds – maybe he has a hernia? Pulled muscle? Just kidding.
For the most part a usable set IMO and worth the price considering the cost of things these days as there are enough usable figures to make it worth the price. Hopefully, MARS is turning around.
I just went to the Warhansa website. Some of the prices have jumped up already. The single Lenin & Harald figures are now $14.00 each. The Soviet sets are now $30.00 each. I was on the fence about the Harald figure, but now I am out with that higher cost.
Yeah looks to me that what Publius start had become an inflation game for new russian makers.At the beginning i bought several but after seen it become a norm and increasing during every year more I had opt x hold in most .
I do get one once in while .
Political figures to me have no value in my collection Personally .Lenin to me personally been a murder propagandist of a system of oppressors .
Fantasy I like but will not pay that price at all.
