I found this interesting figure conversion by Yiannis Karousis of Greece up on Ebay. Yiannis takes Timpo figures and parts and changes into figures like the one below.
As you can see it is Mel Gibson from the movie “The Patriot”. Yiannis has some other listings up as well that you should take a look at. Yiannis does not use glue, he is using heat to mold the figures. His conversion are not cheap and usually sell for several hundred dollars.
Wow, now that’s a conversion, makes me feel like a hacker in comparison. Then again maybe I am.

The figures from Greece are collector’s items, they are nice, but they are collectors pieces, which you can do only one thing. Put the figure on shelf in a glass case because of the price you paid. Your figures are designed to be played with. I prefer your type of figure.
