Blue Box Historical Figures in a recent post we showed you two of the historical figures. Erwin Sell has gone through his collection to show more of these figures.
Blue Box Historical Figures The figures
So far base in just simple look without research as I have not done any compare please Blue Box ” historical figures”, some samples
Figures are 66-70 mm with pedestal, hard plastic base tan cream color painted over..
Alexander the Great pose looks like
Julius Caesar is possible base on Reamsa pose or and another brand mix, the figure pedestal read Julius Caser!?
Henry VIII looks like a copy or based on the Cavendish brand pose.
Duke of Marlborough is based on a pirate pose, I think.
Napoleon and N
Davy Crockett and Buffalo Bill too.
Other as well looks like base or partially copies of other brands. At close look the figures are quite well done in 60 mm scale but some better paint than other.
I have collected and found them in several mix lot with other figures. I had gotten double poses in some of the poses and sold those off too.
Funny they did Robin Hood as a “historical figure”
On the Robin Hood, I do not know how they sold him if as a historical figure or not.
I need to find the rest of the figures. One thing I have to do is find the better-painted poses plus other poses as these here that are very likey later or badly painted edition in most
I do not own any of the unpainted or gold figures.
Blue Box Historical Figures Final Thoughts
When Blue Box company in the 90s released the rare metal figures 65 mm scale sets historical series with plastic weapons. They had redone some of these historical figures
