German Plastic Figure Finds Coma Kinder Egg

German Plastic Figure Finds two of of my German friends have decided to share some of the items they have. First, Peter Bergner share some of the items that he found for his junk boxes. Next, Detlef Heerbrand shares some Kinder Egg Tarzan figures among other items.

German Plastic Figure Finds Peter Bergner

Peter Bergner is constantly looking for items for his junk boxes. He takes these boxes to various shows including his German Plastic Show. He is now doing boxes with better items. Peter send me two photos. The first is of Coma soldiers. Coma is small company from Italy that did a number of interesting figures. The lot is made of their sailors and air force figures.

The second lot is a set of mystery cowboys and Indians. I have never seen these figures before. I find cowboy clubbing the most interesting that he is kneeling clubbing. Usually that pose is done in a standing position. Hopefully we will find who made them.

German Plastic Figure Finds Detlef Heerbrand

Detlef recently showed me his Kinder Egg Tarzan and Jane figures. What is interesting is he has Each figure with three different color bases. here we have the Tarzan figure with red, brown and black bases.

Here we have Jane, Tarzan’s wife with the same three different color bases. This series was done in 1977. The figures sell around 25 Euros or $28.25. Looking at Kinder Egg catalog they did Jane in a yellow animal skin which is harder to find. one other thing the base color shown in the catalog is more a brown.

Finally, Detlef has the complete set of the Lucky man series by Dom Heinerle. As we noted when talking about Erik Vanderhoets’ figures, we noted they usually showed up in a white. Here is the complete set.

Could the cowboys and Indians be made by PZG of Poland.

The Coma figures remind me of Atlantic Commandos. They were my favorite set from Atlantic (and I was never really fond of Atlantic figures, just a matter of personal taste); there was something charming about those guys charging so happily into death – kind of like their Custer set. Maybe they were supposed to be in pain, but my first impression of all those guys with so many arrows sticking out of them was I’d never seen so many guys so joyful to be human pincushions.

The modern/WW2 sets by Coma are still fairly common,
I import several serts x resale no long ago mint in bags .Much harder as musketeers, pirates, romans and barbarian sets .
Artist who did then was one of the three main artist for Atlantic ,same that did WW2 alpine Atlantic set and few others.
COMA sets are more action nice done versus traditional artistic stylist of italian figures in most makers
RES was the main company manufacturer that produce figures for Kinder chocolate surprise company .Kinder was not the maker .

Thanks for info Detlef! Love the Kinder Tarzan / Jane figures !

It’s suprising how just changing the color of a base — as in the Kinder Tarzans & Janes above — seems to create a completely different appearance — so much so that it makes you want to collect all three separate figures.
