Red Box Knights in my last post Flea Market and Junk Box Part Two, I showed a copy of an Starlux knight. Erwin Sell has been kind to get out his set to show all the poses. I am sure they were sold other ways as well.
Red Box Knights Pose Listing
The seven poses are as follows
- standing with sword and shield to the sides
- Advancing with ax and flag
- Standing with crossbow reaching for arrow in quiver
- Kneeling firing low bow
- Running with sword and shield
- Stabbing down with a two prong spear
- Standing with sword and round shield
I bought a bunch of these at KB and I think in bags at Deals and maybe some other dollar stores in the 90s. They match up well with the knights (originally Toy Major?) that came in the ToysRUs buckets and later the Toysmith knights. At the time, the big advantage over the ToysRUs knights was that you got a greater range of medieval figures, including an archer, a crossbowman, and even a peasant.
Correct .They blend well with Accurate as accurate were in the 50 mm range, also with all knights made for the fantasy playset from HK original designed as well DFC brand knights too from 80s.
Also with the set last post here too blend with then too.copies of LIBERTY IMPORT 60 MM but in 48 mm scale
