Plastic Figure Showcase Part Two European Plastic

Plastic Figure Showcase Part Two European Plastic we look at various figures from Europe.  I like to show them as many collectors have not seen them.  Many of the figures come from my travels to the UK and Germany.

Plastic Figure Showcase Part Two European Plastic Photos

Our first photo is a Solido military figure. It could be a medical doctor.
Here is a Michel  cowboy standing firing pistol.  I like the figure. They were sold in Woolworth’s in the early 50’s
This is could be a copy of a Starlux figure. I have no idea who made him.
Comansi cavalry figure painted as a Confederate. It is a shame he is so big.
This is a reissue of  the Jescan bandit from the stagecoach set. The reissue was done by Gomarsa a Spaniish company that acquired Jescan molds. The molds were later acquired by a Spanish collector.
Elastolin 54mm swoppet style Mexican. Elastolin did not do over moulding like Timpo. Instead they moulded each indiviual piece included the hair.  You could imagine how  the people had to assemble each of these figures.

When I first saw these figures I wondered who had copied Peco.   I was more surprised to find it was from Turkey. There are other figures from this company in the same pose to represent army.  I have forgot the company’s name it is buried some where in one of the posts I have done over the year.

    With respect please.
The US cavalry pose is original Pech Hermanos =PH .It from the second mold they did of US cavalry as they did two different sets .
The set of that figure had 18 poses(12 foot and two 6 mounted) as typical toy maker they use the US cavalry x ACW by painting then in grey and blue color.
It was the last set .The first had 12 poses and in smaller scale than these.
The pose in particular is missing the metal pole flag and paper flag.
Every PH set(minus napoleonic) has a pose with banner, even pirates .The banners were made with a metal pole through a hole in hand made by factory painters with made up paper flag.
Finding original figure with original paper flag is priority to any collector from Spain that they pay top$$ x it.

When PH mold were took over by OLiver in 70s they rework the mold changing the bases to flat trectagulat and add a plastic mold banner to had of figure with out banner You can see it in the OLIVER-Former PH WW2 japanese pose and FFFL with a pose each with a rare plastic stick in hand .
Oliver only recast the japanese,FFL and few tarzan set plus only 4 to 8 poses off each set african ,pirates and cowboys and two 4 poses artillery crew from Russian, germans armies.
They never recast the other WW2 sets germans, russian, aussies, british ,americans and AK .Neither US cavalry ,mounted indian, mexican ,ARW and napoleonic all with 12 -18 poses each .Too bad as would be a great addition for many collectors in the 600-70 mm range are very well done for been vintage toy soldiers figures style designed x kids.

The Comansi US cavalry second series more common set are actually bigger scale 75 mm and very ugly made and stamp below or over base.
were imported by me from 1995-1999

The recast from Jecsan were not done by Gomarsa.
The figure made be a copy made by Piperos as well
Gomarsa is the last reseller or REAMSA molds in 70-90s .
Reamsa mold owner is uncertain and this time.

Jecsan molds were taken over by PUCHOL till early 2000 when divide between two private collectors .
Puchol also took the molds from PH-Oliver in 2000
    best
