New Owner of TSSD is Revealed it is Micshaun’s Closet
Kent Sprecher spoke to Nick & Deanna got the following. They have sold their business to Dave Cook & his wife who run an ebay store selling “Toy soldiers, costumes, Lego’s, collectible items and so much more.” ebay handle micshaunscloset2013 They are also on facebook and plan to set up a website.
They plan to make more figures.

We have sold many different items on Ebay since 2005 and we will continue to do so but our primary focus has always been toy soldiers.We have never been a liquidation site and won’t be. We currently do not have all the inventory in our Shopify store. We will be adding inventory often. The retail prices for TSSD will remain the same as they were. We will be carrying all the TSSD figure sets and foam buildings after the new inventory arrives We have sold TSSD for many years as well as Paragon,LOD,Marx,BMC,Tim-mee,Ex Force,Weston etc. I have always wanted to make and sell toy soldiers and when the opportunity presented itself with a lot hard work we able to purchase TSSD, Nick and DeAnna are wonderful people and have become part of our family. I have ordered some TSSD, Paragon and Weston sets from David the past few years. I never had a problem, great service. I am looking forward to see what the do next.
I think the link has not direct URL correct address and not open correct .
Looks it will be a liquidator site as ebay dealers usually list to sale ,not to waist time as charge too many fees else.
So chances are the prices will be great .
Nick told me a couple weeks ago it was a nice couple in Nashville but I didn’t feel at liberty to say anything prematurely. I didn’t know who exactly. I, too, have done business with Dave through his eBay store – he is one of my “Saved Sellers.”
As much as I will miss Nick and DeAnna as producers and sellers I feel their production is in pretty good hands. I hope they continue to produce new figures and sets. Hopefully, will see Nick and DeAnna around – just hope it will be Texas someday. Still bummed out over that.
David announced today on facebook that Micshuans closet has bought TSSD. He got a lot of questions from people I know. On ebay he is micshaunscloset2013. They carry TSSD, LOD, Paragon, Marx reissues, Victory Buys BMC & Tim-Mee sets among other brands. They have been around on Ebay for several years and I wondered who they were. TSSD must have made a mistake in the link.

I’m skeptical they will produce any figures and not think they bough either molds or molds rights from TSSD.Been fact are sellers and resellers of most other produced recast else they will be one more dealers using ebay with an extra overstock from TSSD left over.
Nothing new ,there plenty dealers off ebay plus the largest such TSC,HB,Michigan ,CTS (All wich also have an ebay store set and sale off ebay for long now)and few other with all pretty much the same things products all over at same or alike prices for so limited amount buyers hobby world.
So to me is nothing exiting or non expected.
Would they be new making figures i will think they will sale off all excess TSSD first in order produce new .
Will have to wait and see before speculate of course.

They bought the molds. Of course they will try to sell the existing inventory to recoup some of their purchase price, but most certainly they will have the molds in production to restock popular sets. I does seem sometimes like there are more dealers than customers. I imagine their level of success will determine if they will make new figures. The real winners are Ebay and Amazon who take 10-15% and Paypal/credit card companies who take 3-5%. Ebay also takes the same 10-15% cut from your shipping charges.

Our dream has been to own our own toy soldier company and produce figures. When the opportunity to purchase TSSD came about, we worked with Nick and DeAnna to make this dream a reality.
We have been selling items on ebay since 2005 with our main focus on toy soldiers. We have never been a liquidation site. We originally wanted a place where people could purchase items that they would find in their childhood closet or in the closet of their children. The name of our company is the combination of our sons names. Since then things have grown and expanded.

We are putting inventory on frequently. Both our Ebay store and Shopify store link to each other. We also sell through our facebook page MicShaun’s Closet.
We are running the company just like Nick and DeAnna did with great toy soldiers and fantastic customer service. We will carry all of TSSD’s figures sets and foam pieces, and all the other items that TSSD is known for. Further, we plan to produce figure sets, attend shows and be a part of the hobby community.
