Police Force Cops and Robbers Playset I finally got a chance to photgraph it. The size of the box required me to photograph it outside. As you will see this is an interesting playset.
Police Force Cops and Robbers Playset The Playset
The box has four windows containing the various items of the playset.
The upper left corner contains the police car and bandit with female hostage. Police car is a SUV. The bandit with hostage is most unique item. It is the only two person piece in the set.
In the upper right corner the set has the ambulance, stretcher party and two figures. One of the two figures is missing from its spot. It is a woman on a cell phone. I got the set because of it as I was working at cell phone company at the time. Also it show the changing nature of civilians. The other civilian is a camera man.
The lower right
Tcorner of the box has one of the two building fronts The two building fronts are designed to make carrying case. This corner has five of the fourteen figures. You have one crook, video camera man and four policemen.
The lower left corner has the bank building front. In the front of the back are two bandits. Also like the bank has an ATM on the right side. Both buildings are two story buildings. Buildings are in scale with the figures. Usually you get buildings that are too small.
Police Force Cops and Robbers Playset Final Thoughts
The back of the box shows the playset laid out. You can the missing female holding the cell phone. Also in the photo are various barriers, signs and fencing. This is a well thought out set. I was glad to get it as it seems it is hard to find. This set was gotten in the UK with the help of Peter Evans.
The playset was on sale in US at mcfrugal now BIG LOT.I complete miss skip it and now trying hunt it.some times I see one or two poses sold loose.
I love it and once again show the ingenuity and nice figures original designed and made by Chinese makers. It wonders me …

Dear Erwin,
Do you think you could find any poses for me? I live in Utah there are Big Lots in Utah one up the road. If you can help please let let know. Thanks, Ed Bearnson Provo, Utah

Hi Ed: Unfortunately I can’t help with the figures you are looking for, but just wanted you to know that although employment opportunities took me out of Utah, that I’m from North Ogden, Utah, and spent four years attending college in Provo — BYU, 1975. I had no idea there was someone on this site from my home state. I haven’t had occasion to return to Provo since graduation, but I met my wife there, so there’s lots of fond memories.
this set has been out of production for years and it would not be easy to find.
Edward thanks x ask…

I’m not usually in to civilian figures – unless I can work them in to military scenarios but I’d be interested in this set if only for the building fronts and some of the accessories. I agree, a really well-thought out set for anyone who wants to play cops and robbers.
Are these 54mm?
Amazing set. Thanks for posting the pics. Figures turn up from time to time and I wonder if those might have been used in smaller sets. Gives me a number of figures to put on my searchlist.
Interesting to read the French/german/spanish/italian on the back. So it had been made to be sold over here in Europe but never did see it. Maybe both, to big and brutal. should have been more than 10 years ago when it came out.
Markus .yes not even mentioned in m any other blogs. Here was sold from 1996/1998 appox.
