Dumbest Comic Book Idea of 2012

In issue 700 of Amazing Spiderman, Peter Parker/Spiderman dies. While it is nothing new for superheroes to died, it is what the author did. In the story Doctor Octopus kills Spiderman then realizes that Spiderman is a force for good and put his soul into Peter Parker’s/Spiderman’s body to carry on his good work.  The writier  has gotten death threats for  this idea.  I just say dumb.

    I was a Gold Key and Carlton Comics kinda kid. Donald Duck, Hot Stuff. You never had to deal with a main character being killed off by an idiot writer.

    I goofed. Hot Stuff was Harvey Comics, not Carlton.
