Detlef’s Treasures Milan Toy Show September 2018 we finish up coverage of the Milan Toy Show with pictures of hisacquistions. From the previous photos of the show that there was a lot of Atlantic plus others items to buy. Detlef as you will see got some nice items. some as purchases and some as trades.

We look at some of the loose figures that Detlef got. In the box are Atlantic anicents. Atlantic Davy Crockett and Politcal figures. There are skin divers which may be China made. Outside box is an unknown spaceship and UFO ship. We have already talked about the Jefe Lunar Base playset. 
Another look of the loose figures. Corgie Tarzan character figures and Atlantic Apache are appearing in this shot.
We now look at various Atlantic German items he got. First one is tractor to pull the flak gun. 
Here we have the flakwagen with his two of the three man team. 
Atlantic Schwimmwagen looking at Kent Sprecher’s site he mentions that the 1/72 Scale has a convertible roof which the 1/32 scale does not. 
Detlef got some of the Atlantic WWII Germans.
Atlantic German motorcycle with sidecar. This a less expensive version I used over the Britains version. 
I wanted to go back show you one more item that Detelf bought. It is in upper left corner. I am talking to the Dom knight set. The set has four cannons which are hard to find.

Detlef sent one more photo of his conversion space figures. The figure on right is a repainted Britains Deetail alien. I wonder if the alien has name.
The Dom canon are often sold and were made by Manurba as well ,they came with rare renascence Dom Plastik soldiers/lansquenet originally .(Not to be confused with so call KOHO lansquenet please) The pack with Dom/Manurba knight is an Italian repacked seller distributor, not Manurba or Dom packing .
Atlantic amphibian vehicle is a 166 Schwimmwagen ,not Kubelwagen and yes; the HO has a soft roof version detachable molded in plastic .So those another vehicle
The tractor artillery puller is an out scale (too big-large) with not quite made off motorcycle Kleines Kettenkraftrad HK 101.It could pass also as another later Tractor tracked vehicle as well derivate from the hanomag 250/251 and Panzer 1 .

hello Erwin thank you for your profiling .. can only agree with you! This box with the Manurba knights and cannons that are really rare here, I had not seen in this compilation .. There were other such set, however, were in these no figures but cars small whistles and things like that .. However, these all came to me somehow from the Wundertüten of Heinerle / Dom / Manurba known before ..

Seeing those Atlantic WWII vehicles reminded me of how great Atlantic stuff really was. I’m not sure when Atlantic production seemed to be all over the place that it was fully appreciated. But I recognize much of the Atlantic production now as original, creative, and highly artistic, and apparently others do as well, as prices on it keep rising.
That boxed Dom set of knights was quite impressive.
I’m not usually that interested in space figures or space toys, but seeing that first photo with the unusual depressed lunar base with the two colorful space vehicles out to the side made it look fun and worthwhile to collect.
And all the loose figures Detleff acquired is what makes these toy soldier collector shows exciting.
All in all, it seems Detleff’s trip from Westphalia to Milan was definitely rewarding.

I like how you change the Britains Deetail figure and made him into something else.
The yellow blue white spaceship is from Italian production .. the company was called “Eagle” the green is from the TV series Shado also UFO which ran in the 60th. The part is called interceptor and is from Dinky from England ..

I was never really fond of Atlantic’s figures (exceptions were their Greeks and Trojans), loved the ideas behind them but didn’t like the execution. But I DID love their vehicles! Those were some superbly realized models in a soft plastic you could actually play with! If only we’d had the glues and epoxies we have now to keep the smaller parts on. even so, some great stuff – the pix of those Atlantic vehicles bring back fond memories of me playing on the floor with my kid brothers back in the day.
The holow divers w seosrared base are HK made snd now done by HING FAT .
I did see then been pack sold under a german maker brand but it could had been a distributor also.
And have picture of the distributor brand pack as well.
I had then as child from late 70s first.still one original.the bottom hollow body have holes to atacch pins and keep in position fix bellow water .People use then in aquarium w fish.
There 4 poses plus two mini sub proppeled and one raft.
Colors were red, orange, green and black or blue w frog feet and weapons plus tanks in white generally.
The hing fat copies are a overmolded wasted set w some defective issues in detail else.
I manage get a new mint vintage HK set few years back.
