Plastic Figure Showcase Part Three August 2018 Civilians Figures
These two figures show how our world has changed. Fifty years ago these were jobs we would not have thought for women. Today they are jobs for women and should have been back then. I am not sure who made them.
Over the years years various sports figures have done in plastic. Here are two baseball figures. I am wondering on the batter how he is holding the bad. Do you think it right?
Beton animal trainer represents something that is going away from the circus. I remember going with my father to circus and seeing an animal trainer like Clyde Beatty taking on lions and tigers. Now due to the animal rights people circus are doing away with their animal acts. Here are two civilians I have acquired over the years. The figure on the left I picked up at Plastic Warrior show one year. I just took a price tag of of 20P ($.30). The female on the right is from the cartoon show Gargoyles. She should be Salli Richarson-Whitfield.
Here we have two foreign civilians. The figure on the left is a French farmer figure. The boy on the right I hasve no idea who made him. Also why was is he on a stand.
Gem Models did various fairy tale figures . This is Little Bo Peep and her sheep. Marx did a Bo Peep with one lamb. Gem Models gave you four different lambs
Plastic Figure Showcase Part Three August 2018 Civilians Question
Clayton Bonelli aske this question can you answer it.
Clayton,
can you provide a link to this episode?
Hello,
I did not find an English version, only in Portuguese, the movie segment occurs at 16m and 20s
The figures are very hard to see, but the horse looks a little like this Britains Herald horse: https://img2.jpegbay.com/gallery/005532678/1_m.jpg?1472822115554
I agree Mark it looks like they used Britains figures and may dressed them up not to look plastic.
The French farmer is made by Acedo
I knew he was French, but my knowledge is limited on that country’s figures.
The little boy on the base is one of a pair. A boy and a girl. They have magnets in the base and when put together the magnets push away and it makes them appear to dance
Interesting he must have in a junk lot I bought somewhere
