Today was first day of toy show at the Das Awkscht Fescht. People also know it as Macungie toy show which is the town where it is held. I was curious to see if there would be any dealers out. The weather people had rain for the day. When I got up there was no rain. After taking Laurie to work I went over to the show.
Getting over to the show I found several dealers set up. The first dealer I stopped had some horses and reins and saddle. Next I went over to Mike Russo’s stand. Mike had a wide range of toys and miltary items. I found a number of items for resale. I also got this unusual Marx 60mm Union figure. It is white hard plastic. I am not sure if stripped Marx Warriors of World or not.
Also I got Mike this Timpo figure. What makes this odd it has a Confederate head on a Union body. The figure is still in is original packaging.
With Mike was Mark Husky. I got several items including this fantasy dragon.
Going over the other tables I only found for Laurie a dinosaur for dollar.
The dollar dinosaur is on the left. Also I got for Laurie the other items you see here.
While standing at Mike’s stand, I saw Bob D’ Angelo and Chris Lamont. After two hours I headed for home. It startedto rain after 1:00PM

Peter Bergner sent along information of a German dealer Reinholds shop Kuschel Muschel. He has many different figures for sale. Peter got some variants of Dom which he will share in the future.
Love the dino. It was featured in Walking with Dinosaurs and is actually a Mammal-like Reptile (a Synapsid). I think it’s called a Listrosaurus. The all white WoW Federal is interesting. Want to get rid of him, Paul?
If you zoom in you can see some remnant paint or color on the base of the WOW Federal figure, so someone probably stripped the paint off. I have used brake fluid to take paint off WOW figures and other hard plastic items, it works well. The brake fluid will absorb moisture from the air if left open so I use a pickle jar or other sealable, wide mouth container to hold the brake fluid & figures. After scrubbing the softened paint off the figure with a toothbrush, I put the figures in water for about a week to absorb the remaining brake fluid from the plastic.
Great idea.
Thanks for sharing this paint removal tip.
