Plastic Platoon Next Offering North Vietnamese Army Assualt Troops Mortar Team
We start off with the three man mortar team. You have one man loading the shell another holding down the mortar.
The third soldier is with binoculars and automatic weapon. This figure could be used by itself. Notice the empty magazine holders. in front of the figure.
Here we have a back view of the mortar team.
Plastic Platoon Next Offering North Vietnamese Army Assualt Troops Other Poses
The set comes with two other poses. The first pose is North Vietnamese Army charging with a bangalore torpedo. The bangalore torpedo was first developed in 1912 by the British. It is used to clear obstacles like mines and barb wire. This is the first time we have see this weapon with a plastic figure.
The second other pose is a North Vietnamese Army Laying firing a machine gun. I am sure Greg Liska will tell us what type it is. Mikhail shows us the face detail of the machine gunner.
Plastic Platoon Next Offering North Vietnamese Army Assualt Troops Final Thoughts
Once again Mikhail of Plastic Platoon has come up with a winner. Anyone doing a Vietnam scenario will want these figures. The detail of these figures is astounding. One complaint that we will here is cost. It is due the low runs that he does. This hobby can not support the high runs of old. Please let us know your feelings on these figures.
I can not wait to see what Mikhail has planned next.
you don’t need a commission to recognize a Degtyaryov DP-27/DP-28. lots of kids our generation recognize it as the weapon carried by the Russian GI Joe from the “Soldiers of the World” line.
Plastic Platoon..ahh let me count the ways…stunning work!
Don’t collect that conflict(witnessed it though).
Would love to see these efforts extended to WW2 PTO & perhaps WW1 1918
(especially our AEF vs.the Bosch)..$5-6.00 per figure in plastic with this quality of sculpting and attention to detail……..?!!!!!!!
i believe is 10.00 per figure !!!…
Mikhail will cover very soon WW2 ,it is in the process of casting the prototypes as off now .No WW1 will be cover least for now by his own mouth .
best
Amazing! The laying down firing the DP-27/28 brings the old Airfix WW2 laying poses to a whole new level!
Will he do the eastern front of ww2 im guessing???
TRULY AMAZING SCULPTS!!!!!
