I will start off with this mystery. In the lot were these two soldiers. The one on the right  is base on the Timmee army grenade thrower. The one on the left may be based on Timmee army advancing with machine gun. There are several questions on the figures. Who made them? Are there other figures in the series? What weapons did they have? something for me to watch for.

Next we have this strange little troop carrier. I wonder who made this piece?

These are two of Star Toys Chinese Warriors. I was able to get four different ones.  Detlef said that they were sold in Russia in relations to an exhibit of the Terracotta Warriors. they have been showing up in other places.

I normally don’t buy 1/72 scale figures for the collection, but I love elephants with howdahs on their back. The Romans used the howdahs with elephant in various of their wars.  I have a dragon in one of my stories that will be published this year with a howdah.

In the lot I bought was this conversion of Lido German grenade thrower. The convertor changed helmet (Okay experts do your stuff.) The convertor also gave pinneapple grenade. The figure on the right is Co-Ma Italian soldier.

The figure on the left is seated British soldier. I would like to know what vehicle he goes in. To his right is a Supreme British Napoleonic figure.

Finally we have a Starlux unpainted figure. He was part of a group of Starlux figures I got. The other figures were farm figures.  I am not sure what he is.

    Chinese ancient figures 2D-Flat .
They consist original of 6 poses .
58-60 mm, partially painted soft plastic .2D-semiflat as Lido knights approx but more like former USSR-Soviet era plastic flat figures .
These figures I saw first as souvenir in one trip to china in a museum store .
At first they were sold along a book of history attached to packing .
Then I saw some lots in bags
I do not know year of release but I’m guessing late 90s early 2000s maybe!?.The pack were they come in first did not say any than ancient warriors in Chinese and no date data.
They are first Chinese made ancient type Chinese soldiers I see in plastic original designed in China
Most I had seen before made are Ming-Quin dynasty represented in either surprise toys or margarine with few made character fantasy type by Bandai and old Marx figures.
These are by armor much early type armored warriors from very early period of Ancient China
They represent very alike the army of of first Chinese ancient emperor Qin Shi Huang also made for his terracotta army tomb in statues soldiers.

The figures are made as for kids to play and cartoonist looking ,yet out of curiosity and time era they had found a place in my collection. Even made in the 2d flat style figure is a interesting look.
The figures often pup at eBay from sellers abroad as well in different packs as one I got first.
Presently they had been distributed from east Asia and east Europe(Russia-Ukrainian) by other sellers in bags /packs as well distributed under different marks such Red cat ,Din-Ho and others and sold at stores such URAL TOYS .
In my opinion I’m guessing the artist had strong Former URSS artist idea design and possible even Russian designer ,yet I saw then first in China and brought some from there years ago.
I have few lots left x sale in mystore ebay .

The rare TM poses are are indeed ,the heads are new ,so the pose in advancing by changing entire position slightly and taking off the grease gun the former TM had.
The small seated figure is a truck or armor pose that often come attach to trucks else and could be made by many .it is included in Spain truck i have as well as copy but i think is extracted from british maker pose and that could be original british made .So is the uniform and helmet .The elephants had been made by very few in 1/32 or approx ,Hat version too small and single managed .While TSSD too big i think .
It is in experimental project by EXF as one their “possible” ancient and early medieval warfare set with persian/sasanian sets according to rumors .The beast was used by Romans, Byzantines ,Cartage of course ,Indian armies and few others in large battles .Will be great to have more .
