The show was very busy. Two years ago we struggled to fill all the tables and thought maybe the market was in serious decline. We thought this because so many of the stalwart collectors had passed away. This year the show was fully bookedand we had to turn some people down, I can’t account for this but also attendance through the door was up about 50%.  I took a table this year so didn’t manage to buy much stuff for myself. Though I find that’s always the way when I’m selling.  Both of the dealers either side of me sold their entire
inventory, I had just taken along all the stuff that hadn’t sold last time. I
had a table two year’s ago. sSo there wasn’t any good stuff, but I managed to shift more than half of it so at least it has cleared some space for me. I bought some very rare Malleable Mouldings figures, some Authenticast and some interesting French hollowcast. Otherwise it was mostly stuff for conversion and 54mm wargaming which is getting very big over here now.

  1. Hi Paul, the Lifeguards are by Hilco (made in England) not Tibidabo. Emailing the pictures to you has condensed them so the images are a bit small, there are more up on my blog now https://toysoldiercollecting.blogspot.co.uk/2018/05/plastic-warrior-show-2018.html
    All the best, Brian

  2. To go to one of these shows in Europe is on my bucket lists. I will have to plan a vacation around one of these shows. But that will be another 8 years, until I retire.

  3. Darren Hatley says:

Looks like the show was a Great success this year with plenty to see.
