Me and my brother went to the show bought quite a lot of soldiers from Peter Bergner and from a Frenchman didn’t no his name it was a great show it is a pity it isn’t on two or three times a year the new Replicant mounted Comanches are great. We bought two of each pose we also had some figures from our friend Steve Weston and got some more Conte resin Alamo figures. Steve Weston says he will talk to Paul Morehead about a second show looking forward to next years show

Plastic Warrior should seriously research the idea of adding a second Toy Soldier show sometime in the Fall.

      • There are already six other toy soldier shows every year in the London area, apart from several very large general toy shows.

Many years ago we decided that our policy would be to stick to just one show a year, keep it small to maintain the quality and exclusively for plastic, that’s what makes it different. We have never run the show on a commercial basis to make money, we aim to break even on costs, promote 54mm plastic figures for collecting, wargaming and modelling and provide a sociable atmosphere for all participants.

Lots of other toy soldier shows and magazines have come and gone over the past 33 years and we don’t want to join them so we just stick to what we know will work.

    Erwin,

Your Replicants caption is linked to one of the figure display photos instead of the Replicants photo.

Just like the Brussels show, looks like a great gathering. Is there anyone who might be making a video tour of the various tables at these toy shows and posting the videos to youtube? Seems like that would be a great way to promote the show AND let the folks who can’t attend see what they’re missing in more detail. Might encourage greater attendance ? Just a thought.

    • ERWIN F SELL says:

There some who does some videos and post in FB groups ….

      • ERWIN F SELL says:

As a add on ,i think because in past some incident had happen as some dealers collectors don’t like to be recorded and it has become a problem do full video recording and sponsors only permit it in certain areas or tables with authorization of dealers and or collectors in few instances .There also families with children that do not like their children being recorder by unknown persons too.
        best

If a friend of mine gets what he owns from pictures from the show, he has a short video he took.

Peter Cole was handing out flyers at PW regarding his updated website. Check it out for a great insight into the production of this remarkable range of figures.

  5. It was great to see Paul and Laurie at the PW Show and quite a surprise we had not expected!

John Cross mentions the improved Replicants website announced at the show and here is the link: http://www.replastic.com/

Take a look at the Dioramas page it’s awsome!
