Plastic Warrior Memories Part Two Dealers

Plastic Warrior Memories Part Two Dealers one of the things I like about the show is the diversity of dealers. You have dealers that it is their livelyhood. Then you have collectors setting hoping to get rid of their extras. Finally you have foreign dealers who fit under the two categories.

Plastic Warrior Memories Part Two Dealers Regular Dealers

All show have its regular dealers. It is either their full or part time job. These people are down in the trenches finding items collectors want. One of those dealers is Steve Weston, Steve mostly carries the new material.  He is the go to guy for Replicants and Engineer Basevitch figures. A dealer in old items is Adrian. He is always coming up with unusual figures.  Last time Laurie and I were there I purchased the Roy Thinnes figure from the Invaders.  This was done by Comansi. One other dealer of old items is John Begg. He comes up with rare figures.

Plastic Warrior  offers a great venue for collectors to sell off their extras by taking a table at the show.  Last year we highlighted John Cross and his grandaughter.  In the photo above he had lots of different figures at a reasonable prices.  There are many other collectors have found the show a great place to sell.

The foreign dealers add another dimensione show. They will bring in figures outside the UK.  Peter Bergner from  Germany brings a miniature version of his figure boxes for collectors to sort through. He will have will have other items for sale. Another  dealer is Daniel Lepers of Belgium. Daniel has many interesting figures from Europe. Last year he had some Indians and cavalry from Fontanni.

This yearI know that Detlef of Germany  will be there with a table. I wonder what he will have. I am sorry we will miss the show again this year.

It’s too bad you can’t make the show this year, but it’s amazing you’ve made it over there several times in the past. I haven’t been there ever, but have had to content myself with shows here in the Midwest. Of course, here in the Midwest we are fortunate to have the big Chicago show, whereas those living further east are fortunate to have the big New Jersey show.

But from the photos, it would be a real treat to get to both the Plastic Warrior show, and at least one of the German shows.

Yes Don you would have a real treat. Plastic Warrior you have to look below the table and behind. I can go around PW twenty times and still find something new. Laurie loves the smell of the plastic. We are sorrywe are missing it again.
