Photos are starting to show up of the Plastic Platoon Vietcong. The detail is amazing. Here we have a Vietcong standing firing a rocket launcher. He has a pack on his back.
The next Vietcong is charging with automatic weapon. He has a knife between his teeth. He is carrying rockets?
The final photo we have to do some speculation as we do not have the full figure. I think the figure is waving with a pistol. We hope to have more information from the owner in the near future.

TD Barnecut has an interest project which he like to share with you.
Here are pics of something that may interest your readers.
I cut this aluminum wheel mold for the injection molder using Dremel cutting bits on my drill press. It is a 14 spoke ‘cupped’ wheel in 1/32 scale designed for ACW vehicles. The blue Imex cannon is shown for scale / size comparison.
I am hoping to produce a mortar wagon in 1/32 scale along with a small mortar to go with it. I have no completion date for this project, I just work on it when I can find the time.

Plastic Warrior Magazine may had already covered this, I believe I have the reference Britains Herald used for their Robin Hood figures. It is Walt Disney’s Robin Hood and his Merrie Men starring Richard Todd. I had seen it as a child and for some reason confuse the players with richard Greene. I got the DVD and decided watch it. As I was watching it the people seem famaliar. Then when I saw the Sheriff of Nottingham on a white horse I knew it. The figures Britains Herald did were based on the movie. What do you think?
We have a correction on the above figure. Detlef of Germany gave the following information.
sorry the figure is not a slave driver .. it is about hadschi halef omar ben hadschi abul abbas ibn hadschi dawuhd al gossarah the faithful companion of Kara Ben Nemsi.
We will show the six different figures in this series in a different post.
Plastic Platoon figures look amazing. The 1st figure looks like a NVA with a Russian helmet. The 2nd figure may be carrying Punji sticks on his back? The 3rd May be a Woman fighter.
The Warhansa figures I might buy. I like Medievals and they look well sculpted. The only minor quibble is the legs look too thick.
The wheels look great keep up the good work and look forward to seeing the finished product!
The last figure needs a nickname!
The Plastic Platoon figures look amazing, as always. Sad that I will never own them as they are above my cut-off price per figure. The Warhansa knights look very good too. I think they are the best from Warhansa yet. They are just under my cut-off price so I might buy a set.
TD Barnecutt’s mold project is very interesting. I would like to see a step-by-step video about making the mold.
I’m looking forward to the story on the German Karl May Arab figures. Can you also do the Karl May western series as well? When I was a kid, my mom used to translate the Winnetou books for me. If I had known there were toy soldiers, I would have gone nuts!
There is no video but I could describe the process in more detail if you want to e-mail me. Stad can send you my e-mail address. I have the drill press set up to work like a mill, using the dremel bits as micro milling tools. The wheel design is based on original U.S. ordnance drawings, many of which are viewable on-line. I will eventually add more detailing to the wheel but if anyone would like some as they appear now, I can make them of various colors in soft plastic. Just let me know.
Congratulations TD.I’m impressed and proud of you great idea and work.
Keep us update of outcome.

i agree these figures are too expensive to get any broken i have bought the publius figures and although they are beautiful figures 10 dollars piece is too much i need to have 2 of each pose atleast and the price needs to come down substantially i will no longer buy expensive figures it is not worth the ordeal to me on the other hand the warhansa figure are priced fairly and even though they are high medieval i may still buy just to support the guy giving us quality figures at somewhat of a decent price
Tell Mikhail to have the knife chewer spit it out before he finalizes the pose!
the Dom Arab figure reminds me of the actor Oliver Reed in the Gladiator film by Ridley Scott would love to have him will have to check out the toy soldier shows in London.
Please advance my email address to TD.
Thanks
Michael
I don’t have the address.
Again some really nice figures from Warhansa, I really like the Knights which is my era of collecting, A little pricey but I will probably buy a set of these.
Those Plastic Platoon figures look excellent. The Warhansa figures are looking better and that is my main niche in collecting toy soldiers. But the price of most of these new figures is too much for me.
the figures are fantastic. It just sold through the first batch. They are a plastic resin of some sort. pretty durable. similar to Barzso but a better material.
If we could only get the price down.
so far the material will be change to better according to Mikhail but price kept same.See interview i did to him couple days ago .

Limited run figures have very few margin to price cut as not many sets done unfortunately.

I had the impression Plastic Platoon were made of the same rubbery material as the newer Pvblivs figures. How sturdy are the thin parts like rifle barrels? I only have a few Barszo figures but I have had to glue on a couple of muskets over the years.
Very sturdy.
u can bend them 35% plus degrees and nothing happen at all
Warhansa just add a new Ork =orc recently as well a futurist “machete”!? set but the single ork pose really bit the price winners race now .

I think inflation is taking some shape in these makers now …
my thoughts.

$16 + postage for one Orc! Not going to raise a very big horde at that price! In the Lord of the Rings movies, Saruman just grew his Orcs out of the mud for free like potatoes.
