German Plastic Figure Show December 3 2017 Herne Germany What will be There?
We mentioned that Axel Sonhius will have is newly made Viking fort. Other items will be Timpo from common figures to very rare figures. It will be interesting to see what other interesting items will be for sale.
For 1/72 scale gamers there will be tables of the new releases and old items.
The highlite for the attendees to the show will be Peter Bergner’s Euro boxes. As you can see from the March table you have boxes and boxes of figures to go through. Who know what treasures you could find.
Peter tells me he has added 6 more big boxes than last time with loose junk figures and many figures for 1 – 2 Euro each. I can tell you it is worth your while to go through. I have found manyinteresting figures in the past.

A question – are any German plastic soldier companies still manufacturing figures, either at home or using Chinese factories?
Only Marolin Plaho and few of the sets like Knights. As far I know of…
No. Closed production around 10 years ago.
Andrey .Sorry.I just order direct from then this year Dinosaurs sets as well. They still have them in stock least.
They send me quote x business amount at retail cost price too in all their sets.
Not doubt not reissuing then as not profit x any body any more.
Best.

May be Preiser still works…
And is Preiser the one stop producing the Hausser/Elastolin soldiers mold figures years ago only continue w civilian figures x the railroad scenes in production. After Mr. Preiser bought the whole equipment at the auction of the bankrupt ‘Hausser’ company. There still plenty old stock of many soldiers in kit umpitante format from many retailers around .
Best..
And last german brand producing figures in china since 90s was Simba with their forts, castles and town playsets in 50,60 and 70 mm scales .
Best…
Preiser/Elastolin made a set of 1/35 scale white plastic Victorian Era civilian figures that had to be glued together. I have a set I assembled from the kit that I use for Western Town people. Does anyone know where I can get another (unassembled) box of these? The person I bought them from (probably 4 or 5 years ago) no longer has them. I’m guessing they were produced in the ’70s or ’80s.
Hi, as i belive Preiser are producing them today
Any idea where to find them?
Train hobby suppliers from Europe or here.
You will have to dig search out.
I once saw in it years ago ..
But not idea of name anymore.
Not my hobby.
Best.
Ok check out preiser-figuren-onlineshop.com.
I have been thinking about my own question that started this – all I could come up with is Revell. I believe they still have a handful of 1/72 sets in production and a few years ago they reissued the 1/32 Matchbox American, British, and German infantry – but I don’t think you can really call reissues of originally British figures very “German.”
Well the semi independent German revell brand was purchased by Hobbico, Inc. in 2012 and again is all under american brand together .Yet they never continued the 1;35 line after trying the accurate mold repack and matchbox as well .Looks like happen to all venturing in the no HO scale all goes down quick.
I have understanding the revell WW2 sets were mold cast and designed by same artist from Accurate ,but is just a comment in a blog i red .Nothing more.
