yes, not original but very well done clones in type of plastic/resin material.I will say 95% close as original ones.

Most AIP set listed are not new ,more less ,they are same old production reissue with some new cannon using same old crews on Napoleonic sets and same old camels with cannons on colonial /revolutionary sets .Still interesting add on sets .

Thanks for the info Erwin,I noticed the plastic had an almost semi-transparent look to them, that is why I posted “looks like Timmee ” instead of Timmee Russians ,I wasn’t sure if they were originals or not, I just read the discription now,I’m glad they are being honest and not passing them off as originals !

After observing the new poses mounted Egyptian and British soldiers from AIP .The detail way less impressive than before and very gear simple figures but they made a good death/wounded pose if place in ground as the leg pose bended in(ballet style) is very odd and only used at ready standing not moving camel. Even depicted some time in metal figures is anatomical odd-wrong and incorrect to ride a camel like that at all. And again not mounted action pose as are in very simple riding pose and the rifle(carbine) sling look very bad detail with that excess of plastic in between.I will use them more less for casualties in the ground. The detailed best are the camels and cannons/machine gun.

I have some of the re-cast Timmee Russians and they were nicely done, I have a few originals too. The re-casts are not the glow in the dark colors like some of the originals and they are a plastic resin, but someone looking for the Timmee Russians which are hard to find, can make due with the re-casts at a fraction of the cost.

I have never been impressed with AIP figures, although I do confess to using some of the 95th rifles for some unique Alamo conversions.
