I have started to like the swoppet poses that the came from China. It is interesting not only how they copied the Britains poses, but also came up with some original poses. I got these figures in a recent lot of figures. The foot Indian has an oddhair piece. The mounted Indian the upper body had been on a foot pose but the one leg was missing its pin. I decided to put him on the mounted pose. I will keep look out for them.

Plastic Figure Showcase Part One October 2018 Hong Kong Swoppets Odds Ends
As many people know I do my own foreign mailings for Ebay. I am not thrill with their system. Also I have been doing it for so many years that it is second nature. Recently I had an odd situation come up. The mailing address given to me by Ebay was in Cyrillic Russian. I never had this situation before.
I checked with Jess of my local post office and she told me I could send it that way. She had customers who send to in their language. the only two things the paperwork need to be in English and Cyrillic had have Russia at the end. I did that but I also included an English translation as I had gone through a problem with shipping three foot Barbie Dolls to the UK. Better safe than sorry.
I have two items to be identified. The first are these two soldier which I got out of a lot from Europe. I think they might be Texas of Italy. Am I right?
Finally who made these hard plastic horses?
The two army soldiers copies base in IDEAL poses are belong to the figures attached the DUKW that was original designed and mold made in Italy by firm (APS)-Politoys APS .
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polistil
It was either licenses made or copied in many countries all over Europe, included, Spain, France and Austria. Later copied in smaller in France with out two wheels in back and smaller short size more crude by ROBOTPLASTIC.
The poses were 12 with 8 direct base in Ideal and all were made with plastic pins to be use in b vehicles included one DUKW,one truck and one jeep .
They were made with detachable bases for the bagged sets as well.Sold unpainted as far I know, never seen painted .I have entire sets plus the 36 cm long true 1/32 scale DUKW vehicles that are the best ever made in plastic as have folded bridge ramps and better detail than other made .Again the vehicles and figures were copied by many others but detail was slow going more crude in all figures and else as they copied.
Other best DUKW i know is made in Argentina .
I have post these figures and sets in other blogs .I made an compare DUKW IDEAL,Argentinian models photos of one i got .
I can send photos to admin as like.
APS did other set soldiers more original base in another italian brand .
The huron type indian is by Star Toy and hybrid pose two torse parts mix .ST did a unique swoppet figures along BB that resemble Herald but are more detail in my opinion. It was post here before in this post.

Rest of western indian cowboys HK figures are also Star Toy brand belong to a fort playset .Not same set of Huron that were sold separated from other indians.
Best
Interesting on the soldiers. send the pictures please. The Star toy figuresare interesting in how the company changed the figures from the orginial source. They were in a box with American toy that had newspaper date of 1974.
The problem is when you get the figures out of original package it is hard to Identify them unless you already had experience with them.
thanks Paul for posting my pic
